Il fauno is a red wine blend made from international varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. This blend is sourced from vineyard blocks located in the lower section of the estate, in a warmer, exposed subsection and produces wines that tend to be voluptuous and lush. This wine will age gracefully for a decade or more. This wine embodies the diversity of the estate. This classic red wine features aromas of cypress, forest floor and baking spices, balanced by dark fruit, blood orange, dark chocolate and tobacco. The mouthfeel has silky tannins and a smooth finish. Pair with beef sugo, lamb chops, hard aged cheese and rich tomato sauces. This bottled Italy red blend is 14.5% alcohol by volume.
