Leinenkugels Winter Seasonal Beer, Fireside Nut Brown

Est. 1867. Highest quality. Carefully brewed by the Leinenkugel family for five generations. With access to the finest barley, hops and the pure waters of the big Eddy Springs, Jacob Leinenkugel founded his brewery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, back in 1867. Five generations later, the Leinenkugel family continues its mastery of time-honored brewing standards, using only the highest-quality ingredients and purest processes. The result is the award-winning flavor people have come to enjoy and expect from Leinenkugel's. Specially roasted English two-row malts provide a toasted maltiness and maple aroma with hints of chocolate, caramel and hazelnut top notes that dance around the palate before finishing gracefully. While the star of this holiday seasonal is the roasted malt character, the well-balanced flavor and natural chestnut color give our fireside a comforting approachability that you just don't experience in traditional English-style nut browns. Back in 1867, Jacob Leinenkugel, son of a German brew master, founded the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Here he found the essentials for brewing truly exceptional beers - spring water from the Big Eddy Springs and access to the finest barley and hops, Leinenkugel's popularity has grown, but the quality remains unchanged. We still use the finest ingredients and handcrafted brewing methods. Today, the 5th generation of Leinenkugel's takes tremendous pride in the beers carrying the family name. Indian head country. The Northwoods of Wisconsin have long been known as Indian Head Country, because it was thought that the St. Croix River, which forms the western boundary between Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, formed the profile of a Native American. It's for this reason that Jacob Leinenkugel chose the image of a Native American woman to grace the label of his first beer-to pay homage to both the local people and their home. Today we're proud to carry on that tradition of honoring the source of our rich heritage - Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin - and of brewing beer that would make Jacob proud. The Northwoods: it's an area of wooded hillsides, swift-flowing rivers, prosperous farms, and one very special place - Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, home of the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company. Since 1867, for five generations, we've been brewing and handcrafting our authentic specialty beers in small batches in the same brewery. The next time you find yourself in our neck of the woods, come visit us at the Leinie Lodge. We'll pour you an ice-cold Leinie's and show you why people call our brewery and our beers, the flavor of the Northwoods. Welcome home. On behalf of all of us here at Leinenkugel's, we'd like to welcome you to the Leinie Lodge. Just what is the Leinie Lodge, you ask?
