This rich, exotic Mendocino Zinfandel is the product of a superb dry-farmed and head-pruned old vine vineyard. The additions of Petite Sirah and Carignane to the Zinfandel create enticing layers of dark cherry, ripe blueberry, Asian spice, chocolate and licorice. Aged in new American and French oak barrels for 18 months prior to bottling, this wine is a natural paired with red sauce pastas, filet mignon or veal chops. Alc. 14.7% by vol.
